Chaska Juniors Volleyball Club has offered competitive club volleyball offerings since 1994. In 2020 when the pandemic hit, the offerings had to adjust and now this year we are back and working diligently to rebuild club program offerings for youth in our community for years to come.
Player Eligibility
Chaska Juniors Volleyball Club will prioritize roster spots for athletes who live in the Eastern Carver County School District boundary.
We currently offer girls club teams

Detailed information below describes our 2025 club season offerings
Please note that all tournaments listed below are subject to change
2025 SEASON CLUB DEVELOPMENT TEAMS
Offered Levels: 11U, 12U, 14U
Practice: 1 per week
Season: Last week of February through 2nd week of May
Club Development Teams will have a later season start and begin practice the last week of February and their season will go through the 2nd week of May.
11U White, 11U Purple, and 12U Gold Teams will compete in 4 dates of the 12U/11U Youth Development League program hosted by Northern Lights Volleyball Club at Midwest Volleyball Warehouse in Burnsville, MN. 14U Gold Team will play in 1 Power League Playdate, 1-2 local tournaments, and end their season with an intrasquad scrimmage.
Season Cost: $350
Includes: Coaching, 1 jersey, weekly practices, tournament fees, JVA membership.
Players to provide their own athletic shoes, knee pads, backpack, water bottle.

The Youth League hosted by Northern Lights is a 2-match playdate format (no ref duties for players). Match times are posted the week before play. Matches may start as early at 7:30 AM and as late as 7:30 PM.

The 14U team will play in 1 Power League Date, 2 local 1-day tournaments, and end with an intrasquad scrimmage.
Club Hybrid Development Teams
The Hybrid option is a Hybrid Development/Tournament team that will have a delayed start due to winter sports conflicts.
They will only practice once per week starting in January and through the end of February. Then 1-2 practices a week will start in March. No tournaments in January or February.
Will not be in a Power League. Will have tournament competition in March and April (5 events).
Season Cost: $800
Includes: 1 paid coach, 1 jersey, weekly practices, tournament fees, JVA membership.
Players to provide their own athletic shoes, knee pads, backpack, water bottle.

2025 SEASON CLUB TOURNAMENT TEAMS
Levels: 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U
Season: Mid-November through April
Practices: 1-2 times a week
Commitment Level: High - Players are expected to attend all practices and tournaments.
Club Tournament Teams are for 10U to 14U players who want to compete in tournaments during the Junior Olympic volleyball season from January through April.
Practices 1-2 per week will start mid-November and go through the end of April.
Teams will compete from January to April in 5 Power League dates and 2 tournaments
Season Cost: $850
Includes: 1 paid coach, 1 jersey, practices, tournament fees, JVA membership.
Players to provide their own athletic shoes, knee pads, backpack, water bottle.

2025 SEASON CLUB TRAVEL TEAMS
Levels Offered: 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U
2025 Teams Rostered (2): 15-1, 14-1
Practice: 2 per week
Season: Mid-November to mid-May (June if attending USAV or AAU Nationals)
Commitment Level: Highest - Players are expected to attend all practices and Tournaments. Club Travel Teams are the highest level of commitment and competition.
Offered for 11U to 15U players who want to play volleyball from November to June.
Practices will start mid-November and typically go through the middle of May, potentially June (if attending AAU Nationals at the end of June).
Teams will compete in JVA and USAV sanctioned events against other Club teams across the state and region.
2025 Season Cost: 15-1: $2,300 (based on season length and tournament selections)
For the 2025 Season the 15-1 Travel team will play in 10 events January through May.
Includes: 3 paid coaches, 1 warmup top, 2 jerseys, practices, tournament fees, JVA membership.
Players to provide their own athletic shoes, knee pads, backpack, water bottle. Travel expenses for local tournaments not included. Optional AAU or USAV Nationals travel costs not included. Players also need to pay their own individual USA Volleyball membership ($60 for the year).

How to prepare and decide if Club volleyball with Chaska Juniors Volleyball Club is right for your athlete?
Before registering for Club season tryouts, consider if you can confidently answer "yes" to the following questions:
- Has your player participated on a formal volleyball team before, such as one of our YDT Fall League teams?
- Is your player eager to join a team, and mature enough to handle the commitment of a multi-month season?
- Has your athlete attended multiple Chaska Juniors Academy clinics (formerly Chaska Mini Juniors)?
- Does your family's schedule allow for a high level of commitment, including attending most practices and tournaments? Practices are typically held on weekday evenings, with occasional Sunday sessions.
