2026 CHASKA JUNIORS CLUB SEASON TEAM INFORMATION

Chaska Juniors offers three competitive volleyball team options for girls beginning in 4th grade:

  • Club Teams
  • Delayed Start Club Teams
  • Rec Teams

We encourage all families to register for the Club Team option unless they cannot commit to the intensity of the season schedule, then they can opt for Delayed Start Club or Rec

All teams require a strong commitment to practices and tournaments but differ in cost, schedule flexibility, and competition level.

Tryouts & Team Placement

Tryouts are required for all players (see tryout information and registration information on this webpage).  After tryouts coaches will place athletes on the team where they will best learn, grow, and thrive. We encourage all families to register for the Club Team option unless they cannot commit to the intensity of the season schedule and then we do offer two alternatives:

  • Delayed Start Club: For athletes with major weekend conflicts in January/February (e.g., travel basketball). These teams begin weekend competition later in the season but still offer Club-level training and competition.
  • Rec Teams: For athletes who prefer a lower intensity level, and lower-travel option while still participating in the winter season.

Player Eligibility

Chaska Juniors Volleyball Club prioritizes roster spots for athletes who live and attend school within the Eastern Carver County School District boundaries and attend or plan to attend Chaska High School; this will be designated as Level 1 Eligibility. For the 2025-2026 Club season, same as last season, we will offer automatic eligibility for Level 2 Eligibility to athletes (Chanhassen High School) per the policy and chart below. Level 2 Eligibility will continue to prioritize athletes who live in and/or attend schools in the Eastern Carver County School District. We have a Level 3 Eligibility category to handle requests from athletes who live outside of our school district boundary, at time we do not accept any Level 3 Eligibility participants.

See Eligibility Policy Here
